Councilwoman Heather Hutt Korean joined the American Federation of Los Angeles (KAFLA) for their Flag Raising Ceremony in celebration of the 120th Korean American Day.
"As a Councilwoman who represents Koreatown, the largest Korean American community in the world, I look forward to working more closely with our Korean American Angelenos. Come visit our district to experience the rich culture, history, and amazing Korean food," said Councilwoman Hutt.
The event took place at their office building in Council District 10. The annual event celebrates and symbolizes the partnership between the US and Korea. Other VIPs who attended included: Rep Jimmy Gomez, CM John Lee, Korean American Chamber of Commerce Chairman Peter Kim, Consul General of the Republic of Korea Young-wan Kim, and KAFLA President James An.
